work in the wild.

A deliberately small selection of released tools and active builds. Some repositories stay private while security, deployment, or product work is still moving; the engineering story does not have to pretend otherwise.

seven signals, one lab_

The collection spans the actual work: network operations, regional data, Android, local AI orchestration, property management, and self-hosted media tooling.

RGV Guide

live
civic data

A living dashboard for news, events, regional data, border crossings, and the projects shaping South Texas.

RGV Guide collects local signals into one mobile-first surface instead of making residents hunt across station sites, calendars, public datasets, and agency pages. A scheduled Python pipeline gathers the feed; the web app turns it into something fast, sourced, and useful.

sshfleet

open source
network ops

Bulk command execution for network-device fleets, with safe defaults and evidence left behind.

A compact Python CLI over Netmiko for running read-only or approved configuration work across switches, routers, and firewalls. It supports optional SNMP detection, bounded concurrency, dry runs, per-device logs, JSON summaries, and automation-friendly exit codes.

Infrastructure Reference

maintained
field notes

Operational references for engineers who need the useful part without the conference talk.

A growing set of practical notes covering networking, Linux, cloud, Kubernetes, Talos, Omni, infrastructure automation, development workflows, and troubleshooting. The repository includes a consistent writing standard, validation, visual guides, and explicit review dates for version-sensitive material.

DoorKey

mvp hardening
property ops

Spanish-first property operations for a real family-owned apartment complex in Río Bravo.

DoorKey handles residents, leases, recurring charges, bank-transfer payments, allocation, credits, reversals, printable receipts, maintenance, vacancies, applications, showings, and resident self-service. The system defaults to Spanish for the first Mexican deployment while retaining an English interface for future properties.

MediaSignal

launch prep
self-hosted

A lightweight request portal for the people who share your media library but should not need access to your server.

Friends and family search for an exact movie or series, pass a Turnstile check, and send a structured request to Discord. The project stays neutral across Plex, Jellyfin, Emby, and manually managed libraries, with operator-owned credentials and permanent TMDB attribution.

DeskWell

device testing
android

A calmer workday assistant for people who work from home, without turning the person into telemetry.

DeskWell restores the easy-to-miss cues of a remote workday: water, movement, eye breaks, focus blocks, outside time, and shutdown. It is local-first, account-free, ad-free, and uses a manually selected location only when weather-aware outdoor timing is enabled.

Model Yard

private alpha
ai tooling

A private dispatcher for local models and official coding agents, with boundaries that survive the demo.

Model Yard routes work among a local OpenAI-compatible endpoint, the official Codex CLI, and the official Claude Code CLI. Approved workspace roots, deterministic routing, local-only mode, bounded fallback, process cleanup, private history defaults, and a localhost dashboard are part of the product—not afterthoughts.
